Freeze-dried
flowers will change color. Some flowers may even change
a color hue. Quality, freshness and handling play a large
factor in preservation appearance. Whites become creamy
and some flowers, especially red flowers, a little darker.
Color enhancement may be used to help protect the original
coloring.
Because
there are hundreds of types of flowers, this is not an all-inclusive list of flowers that freeze-dry well.
